Background

In 2025 Silverlining Research have conducted a comprehensive positioning analysis for Aarhus Business College as part of the school’s strategic process.

The aim has been to identify the school’s potential and provide a solid foundation for its continued strategic development. As part of the assignment, Silverlining Research have gathered insights into the perceptions of prospective students and their parents, as well as input from stakeholders on the school’s opportunities, challenges, and potential position within the new educational landscape.

The solution design comprises several research elements that together provides an overall picture of Aarhus Business College’s position in the educational landscape.

Method

Silverlining Research have examined Aarhus Business College’s position from multiple perspectives. This includes desk research and two panel surveys, one among young people and one among parents of young people living in East Jutland.

To supplement the quantitative components, 20 in-depth interviews has been conducted with relevant stakeholders from the education and employment sectors, as well as with representatives from companies within the school’s network, including industry associations and current clients.

Results

Aarhus Business College have received a comprehensive report whose findings form part of the foundation for the school’s continued strategic work.

Silverlining Research has also activated the insights from the report through two presentations to the school’s board.
