Passenger Experience for Jeddah Airports
Background
From October 2024, Silverlining Research has been conducting passenger experience surveys at King Abdulaziz International Airport (Jeddah Airport) on behalf of JEDCO.
Market research, besides from the conducting of ASQ surveys, was relatively new to JEDCO, hence we have designed the questionnaires for their dedicated arrivals and departures satisfaction trackers from scratch. On top of that, at new Brand Health Tracker was added to the survey portfolio from Q3 2025.
Method
The project involves all aspects of the market research chain, including project management, management of the local interviewer team conducting 21.600 CAPI-interviews plus 2.000 ASQ interviews per year.
Results
All results from the surveys are reported in custom-built online dashboards in Dapresy.
As an add-on to the project, we are analysing open ended questions through the use of AI via ChatGPT, Microsoft Azure and our survey system, Survalyzer. This enables us to translate all comments, anonymise them, categorise them and do sentiment analysis. This provides Jeddah Airport with a much better impression of the feedback and bring much more value to the surveys.
