User satisfaction surveys among parents of children at Aarhus International School

Insights into parents’ satisfaction with teaching methods, pedagogical approaches, and COVID-19 management at Aarhus International School (AIS).

Background


Silverlining Research conducted a user satisfaction surveys among parents of children attending Aarhus International School, which is IB-certified. The survey covered both sections of the school, corresponding to grades 1-9, and the kindergarten department. 

The purpose of the survey was to assess parents’ satisfaction with various aspects that can impact the well-being of children in the school.

Method
 

The main aspects included the survey was teaching and educational approach, the social and physical environment, communication between the school and families, and the after-school program. In the first two reports, there was also an evaluation of how parents perceived the school’s handling of the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures taken.

The results of the recent surveys were also compared to the results from previous years to investigate if there were statistically significant differences in satisfaction across different areas. 

 

Impact
 
Aarhus International School has gained updated insights into parental satisfaction in various areas through these surveys. These insights are used to improve the mentioned aspects of the school and make it an even better place for the children
