Evaluation of Syddjurs Municipality’s Business Unit 2023-2025

Insight into the Business Unit of Syddjurs Municipality’s contribution to the local business community.

Background

Syddjurs Municipality aims to increase business attractiveness and make the municipality a better place to conduct business. To achieve this goal, Syddjurs Municipality established a dedicated Business Unit, which serves as an advisory link between the Municipality and the local business community.

Silverlining Research conducted an evaluation of Syddjurs Municipality’s Business Unit in the spring of 2023 as part of a broader business evaluation spanning from 2023 to 2025.

Method

In response to Syddjurs Municipality’s need for better insights into the relevant parameters for evaluating the Business Unit’s work and overall business satisfaction in the municipality, Silverlining Research developed an analysis design for the Business Unit. This design is part of a longitudinal study of Syddjurs Municipality’s business attractiveness.

As part of the analysis design, Silverlining Research will conduct a series of measurement points from 2023 to 2025 using a mixed-method design. This includes desk research on business statistics in the municipality, telephone interviews, and collecting questionnaire responses from local business owners in Syddjurs Municipality.

Impact

Through this analysis, Syddjurs Municipality has established a data foundation with several measurement points to aid in evaluating the Business Unit’s work and contribute to overall business satisfaction in Syddjurs Municipality.
