Measurement of the Potential of a New Wellness Facility at Singapore Changi Airport

With 512 interviews collected in spring 2024, Silverlining Research measures the potential for a new wellness center at Singapore Changi Airport.

Background

Singapore Changi Airport (CAG) have asked Silverlining Research to carry out a survey among travellers at Changi Airport to get insights into passengers’ attitudes, preferences and assess the level of interest in the potential additional of a wellness facility within Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Singapore Changi Airport is a major international airport that serves Singapore and is one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia. The airport operates more than 100 airlines with flights to destinations in Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Method

A quantitative face-to-face survey was carried out to determine the overall interest level in having a wellness facility at the airport.

A total of 512 interviews were conducted from May 21st to June 4th, 2024 with passengers aged 20-50 in Terminal 1-4.
Results

With these insights, Singapore Changi Airport got insights on whether they should proceed with the wellness facility as well as which services the facility should have and at what price.
