In 2026, Vertica has once again focused on the most significant and influential trends in e-commerce in their annual e-commerce trend publication.
The report focuses on trends that have the potential to make permanent changes to e-commerce, supported by a solid foundation of data.
Silverlining Research has contributed to the preparation of this year’s report by collecting and analysing data from Danish consumers. The data collection supports the perspectives and expectations for trends that Vertica’s consultants have experienced and identified through their work with some of Denmark’s largest e-commerce companies.
Method
Silverlining research has conducted a quantitative questionnaire survey of more than 1,000 Danish consumers who have shopped online within the last month. This survey quantifies the most important trends identified by Vertica’s consultants in this year’s report.
In addition to providing data, Silverlining Research has assisted with the analysis and interpretation of the most important and substantial results.
Results
With a robust foundation of data, Vertica is able to provide insights and conceptualise the most influential trends that will shape e-commerce in 2026 and beyond.
