Silverlining Research will conduct in-depth interviews in Denmark and Norway in the spring of 2024 with the aim of investigating Scandinavian drinking habits.
The Private Sector
Alcohol Products in Denmark and Norway

Background
In the spring of 2024, Silverlining Research was contacted by Kuudes to assist with their project in order to learn more about Scandinavian drinking habits and views on different product categories within the market for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
In addition to resources and expertise in conducting in-depth interviews, we have assisted with knowledge of the existing market within the different product categories as well as in-depth prior knowledge of the target group’s attitudes and behaviour. This has made it possible to not only conduct, but also optimise the in-depth interviews to ensure the greatest possible benefit for Kuudes.
Method
In total, Silverlining’s experienced moderators conducted 16 computer-assisted semi-structured in-depth interviews, 8 in Denmark and 8 in Norway, among a representative sample of consumers between 18 and 45 years. In addition to transcriptions and translations of these interviews, detailed notes including quotes based on Kuudes’ objectives were provided.
Results
Silverlining Research has delivered insights, data and expertise to the full satisfaction of Kuudes, who with these insights have gained a solid foundation for their future work.
